Los Angeles Lakers forward Ron Artest, now known as Metta World Peace, was anything but peaceful when he threw this elbow at the head of Oklahoma City’s James Harden in Sunday’s win over the Thunder. Artest is now awaiting word about a suspension as the Lakers near the playoffs.
Los Angeles eventually won Sunday’s showdown behind 26 points from Kobe Bryant, who added six in the second overtime as the Lakers rallied from an 18-point deficit in the second half for a 114-106 victory over the Thunder at Staples Center.
Even with the name change, Lakers fans should expect the worst as Artest has already been suspended 13 times for 111 games in his NBA career.
