This is the day of the NBA where almost every superstar has to leave his team for one reason or another. We all know what “decisions” got the trend started. A Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, and Deron Williams later and Dwight Howard is attempting to be the latest superstar to leave the team that drafted him behind. However, in this case, Howard is making a very bad attempt at jetting out of Florida.
Howard actually played the loyalty card! When he could have gotten traded out of Orlando mid-season, he pulled out of the trade because of what he called “loyalty”. I think loyalty would have meant resigning the next day to a lucrative extension. Loyalty definitely is not waiting till the offseason to make another attempt of getting out.
Now Howard has had a good piece of an offseason to make his departure, but has failed to do so. Sure, the Magic and Nets failed to make the deal but Howard gets a piece of that blame as well. Howard’s infatuation with Jay Z’s nets has made things more complicated. Howard has to remember, its a trade situation. He’s behaving as if he is an unrestricted free agent. He should probably go back to his loyalty claim and just play the year out. His insistence on going to the Nets is not helping himself leave Orlando and is not helping Orlando, otherwise the trade would’ve been made by now.
It seems that Howard now has two choices. Either play another year in Orlando or go and help Kobe chase his Jordan obsession in LA. Howard has had enough opportunities to get out of Orlando. It seems that he wants to be in Brooklyn more than he wants to leave Orlando. Not sure if he heard, but they just signed Brooke Lopez back. As for where that leaves Howard? Probably the same place its always left him. Trying to head to Brooklyn.

Thank you for another informative site. Where else may I get that kind of info written in such an ideal means? I have a undertaking that I’m simply now operating on, and I have been at the look out for such info.
