#LuckyLuck

Today we had the privilege to watch the beginning of a special career. Andrew Luck was on fire today in the two quarters that he played in. Sure, there were a couple passes that brought out the #LuckyLuck posts, but he looked better than advertised. He was poised in the pocket, and seemed to have made all of the correct reads.

His first pass was a 60-yard touchdown completion that Donald Brown and the offensive line were the real heroes for it to happen, but throwing a touchdown on your first pass as a professional is amazing. This would be like a baseball player hitting a homerun in his first at bat in the big leagues. It is almost unheard of.

Overall, Andrew Luck showed us why the scouts said that he was the best professional prospect at quarterback since John Elway. He is going to show signs of being a rookie, but he is going to be amazing. It might be early, but he should get Offensive Rookie of the Year, and could get the Colts a couple extra wins from last years total.
