Griffin’s Dunk the Best Ever? Mullin Thinks so

NBA Hall of Famer Chris Mullin has seen some amazing dunkers in his day.

Michael Jordan. Clyde Drexler. Dominique Wilkins.

But Blake Griffin is the ultimate slam dunk champion in his eyes.

During Friday’s broadcast of the Utah Jazz-Oklahoma City Thunder game, Mullin claimed that Blake Griffin’s dunk over Kendrick Perkins was the best he’d seen in his time watching NBA basketball.

“That was the greatest dunk ever,” the ESPN analyst said. “I had three good dunks in my career. I know a good dunk when I see one.”

Hard to argue with that, although Vince Carter’s dunk in the Olympics is pretty tough to beat in my eyes:

I also still love Jordan’s baseline dunk against the Knicks (on Patrick Ewing by the way), but I’m old school. In fact, I’d take most any of Jordan’s Top 10 dunks over today’s dunkers any day.
