Chargers Waive Vincent Brown
The San Diego Chargers have waived injured wide receiver Vincent Brown.
Brown was released with an injury settlement, which would technically allow him to sign with another team rather than spend the entire year on injured reserve with his calf injury. The settlement was good for 2.5 game checks, making him a free agent
Brown had missed most of the preseason with the injury. He also missed last season with an ankle injury.
In 2012, the 2011 third-round pick out of nearby San Diego State returned to the Bolts and had 41 receptions for 472 yards and a TD.
In 2011, he had 19 catches for 329 yards and two touchdowns.
